These are the two flagships for large yards in 2026. Both have all-wheel drive, both handle around an acre, and both cost $2,500 to $3,300. The deciding factor is how much of your lawn sits under trees.

The LUBA 3 3000 and 5000 lean on 360° LiDAR, with network RTK and cameras alongside. LiDAR measures distances to trees and structures, so it holds its position in shade.

The X4 leads with tri-frequency network RTK and uses visual SLAM and AI vision to support it. Under open sky that's excellent. Under heavy canopy, satellite-led mowers are more likely to slow down or lose position. Our navigation explainer goes deeper.

Coverage and speed

The X4 is built for throughput: a 17 in deck, up to 9,600 sq ft per charge on the X430 and a 90-minute recharge. Mammotion doesn't publish the LUBA 3's cutting width, but lists up to 215 minutes per charge. For lawns over an acre, the X450 is the only option of the two.

Costs over time

Mammotion includes 3 years of 4G on the LUBA 3. The X430 includes 1 year of Connect+ and the X450 two, then $32.90 a year. Over five years that's about $130 more for an X430.

Verdict

Choose the LUBA 3 AWD for mixed yards with trees and structures. Choose the Navimow X4 for big, open properties or the steepest ground.
